I can't believe it...THREE YEARS ALREADY!!! Today we celebrate Connor's 3rd birthday, and what a blessing he has been to SOOOOO many people. I will be the first to say how very special this little boy is to me...he is my entire life, and holds EVERY ounce of my love. It's hard to believe my little newborn has turned into such a smart, loving, athletic, and kind little boy.
As I sit here writing this I have so many memories running through my mine. Like the first time I held my precious baby boy, or his first airplane ride at 10 days old. Or his first trip out on Uncle Sean's boat, or first trip to the zoo with Grandma. His first MO-HAWK (Thanks Uncle Matty), his first time playing with his special tractors (Thanks Uncle Mitchy), or his very first bear hunt with his Papa. First smiles, day of school, laugh, ouchie :-(, song he sang, and the most special to my heart the first prayer he prayed. Connor has become such a compassionate and giving child, and all just in his first 3 years of life.
I remember praying that if I only taught him a few things in life that it would be to; 1.) Love God 2.) Love others 3.) Give when you have to others who don't 4.) Forgive, and finally 5.) Always act with a loving, kind, and compassionate heart even when it's tough. Well anyone who knows Connor can attest to his accomplishing all of the above. Loving God, my little man fully gets this. He knows that Jesus died for his sins, and that everything we are given is a blessing we do not deserve. Connor prays daily and there is never a "need" or "request" its just his little heart thanking God for everything...even down to a few of my recent favorites, his belly, chin, walls, windows, plates, and piggy pies (feet)! Such a precious sound that is to my ears. Another favorite thing of mine about Connor is how he LOVES...and boy does this little guy know how to LOVE. His BIG BEAR HUGS AND MOOCHIES leave no questions as to his feelings for you. Connor loves to give to those who don't have as much as he has. Just a week ago he helped me go through old toys and clothes he had not used and pack them up to give to a little boy we know. He was so proud of himself and excited! He has such a gentle soul, yet such a forgiving spirit as well. As I lay on the couch, sick, at his big 3rd birthday party, he never said "mommy you're no fun" haha, though I was not. The past 3 years have been crazy for us, yet he, knowing it or not, always forgives me in my mistakes and slip ups! And finally, everyday I see his loving, kind, and compassionate heart towards anyone or thing he encounters. I owe a HUGE thank you to those who have come alongside to encouraged and influence Connor. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart, and especially you, Mike. You are the perfect example of what a man should be, and you have taken Connor as your own, and are greatly responsible for the little man he has become. THANK YOU MIKE.
Okay, sorry! This has become the longest post ever...much like a book! I just had to take the chance to brag on my BIG boy!!! The past 3 years of our lives have been the best of mine, and we are so happy FINALLY! Connor, you are the BEST thing I have EVER done in my entire life, and I love you FAR more then you will ever know. Thanks for being my son, and the JOY of my life. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY CONJON, CONA-LONG-A-DING-DONG, CONRASCLY BOY! MOMMY LOVES YOU!!!!!

New Family Names....
So, this is just a friendly post to make a few of you laugh. Connor is HILARIOUS these days! Now, dont get me wrong, he has been quite the funny man his whole life, but lately he keeps me rolling ALL THE TIME!!! The other night in the car he decided he was tired of his name, and no longer would like to be called Connor. Imagine my surprise when this subject was brought up in our conversation. I mean, I feel Connor is quite a great name, and fits him perfectly! Well, as the conversation progressed, he informed Mike and I that we also had new names according to him. So I began to inquire what I should now be calling my son, and boyfriend...and well here we go...
1. Connor- he asks that everyone now address him as "The Pickle Farmer". Yes, I said Pickle Farmer...WHAT THE HECK!!! Mike a few weeks back had joked with him and mentioned that name, well apparently it suits him better than Connor. If you call him Connor, he politely responds, "I am not Connor, I am the PICKLE FARMER"!!!! So, please keep this in mind.
2. Since my name has also changed, please refer to me as "Boo". Not sure if that means I am scary, like Halloween BOO, or like I am hairy like that bear...Boo Boo... you know Yogi's friend, or if simply its just that MOM or Steph takes too much effort to articulate. Either way, I am sure I will go far in the professional world as Ms. Boo Vampola.
3. Finally Mike has been reassigned his name as well. This one I find HILARIOUS, and if you spent ONE day in my house with Mike and Connor, you could EASILY see why Connor would come up with such a name for Mike. You ready for this? Mike, from here on out shall be called, THE HOPPING KANGAROO. I find this just perfect, I even considered asking Mike's parents why they did not consider this his givin name at time of birth!!! Anyways, just come be the fly on our wall, and you will see that my son is not completely off his rocker with these names, I mean at least ONE of the three is fitting!
Well, this has turned into quite the book just for my humorous story, so forgive my ranting, but I just had to share. Also, I wanted to enlighten some of you that if you get a Christmas card in the mail from Boo, The Hopping Kangaroo, and The Pickle Farmer, its really from us. I should really get to work now, hope all is well with everyone!

New to this...
So, I finally decided to start a blog! This way our family and friends can keep up with our EVER changing life. We are living up in Parker, CO now, and really like the area. Connor is about to be 3...which I can't hardly believe! I work for a wonderful company Mount Yale Capital Group in downtown Denver, and LOVE my job. Connor is attending a Christian daycare/preschool and has really be thriving there! We also are both so blessed by a wonderful man, Mike, who came into our lives almost a year ago. Life is good, and for that PRAISE GOD!
I hope everyone we care about can stay in touch with us through this blog, and join us on this amazing journey of life!
